GRE AND GMAT

ALL ABOUT GRE…..
The Graduate Record Examinations is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States. The GRE is owned and administered by the Educational Testing Service. The test was established in 1936 by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
IS GRE REALLY DIFFICULT?
Compared to other graduate exams, such as the MCAT, LSAT or, GMAT, the GRE is often considered less difficult because the GRE requires less specialized knowledge, has an easier curve, and generally has less-challenging math questions compared to other graduate exams. So, generally, the GRE is more challenging than college entrance exams such as the SAT and ACT but less difficult than other graduate admissions tests like the MCAT, LSAT, and GMAT. In the next sections, we’ll look at what exactly makes the GRE challenging and what aspects of the test may make it less challenging than you’re expecting.
ALL ABOUT GMAT...
The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA.
IS GMAT DIFFICULT?
Because the GMAT is a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT), it will introduce increasingly difficult questions as each section progresses. In that sense, the GMAT is “hard” for everyone. ... Since the GMAT has a Verbal and a Quant section, which require very different skills, most people are naturally better at one or the other. EASY AMONGST THE TWO? However, experts say that although the GMAT quantitative section is harder than the GRE quantitative section for most test-takers, it may be easier for those who prefer logic problems over geometry questions, since there are more geometry questions on the GRE than the GMAT.
BASIC information......
The overall, or composite GMAT score ranges from 200 to 800 in 10-point increments. It takes 3.5 hours to complete the test, and the GMAT is valid for five years. If you took the test in this time period, your scores are valid five years from the end of the testing year when you took the test. GRE testing years begin on July 1. This means that a test taken on May 15, 2015, remains valid until June 30, 2020.
